Finish incredible recipes with icings, meringue, processed cheese, gratin pasta, among others, using this excellent professional torch that offers flame regulation, safety lock and works on butane gas (lighter gas). The base is removable for easier handling and offers a large internal capacity (20ml of gas = approximately 45 to 60 minutes) for prolonged use if necessary. Instructions for use: Gas refueling: before filling with butane gas, make sure the filling valve is tight. Shake the gas container a few times to heat the fuel. Move the flame adjustment slide to the " ---" position. Place the container nozzle in a vertical position, inside the gas supply valve. Pump for best results. After refueling, wait a few minutes for the gas to stabilize. Lighting: move the flame adjustment slider to the "+" position. Push down on the safety catch until it clicks into place. Press the ignition button. The flame will light up instantly. For safety reasons the button will not lower unless the safety catch is locked. Flame Adjustment: Adjust the flame length during use by moving the flame adjustment slider. By sliding it towards the "+" symbol the flame will be longer and "-" the flame will be smaller. For best results keep the flame between 10 and 25 mm. Do not leave the flame too long as this will result in wasted fuel and make the flame unstable. Adjust the flame width during use by pushing the air control lever with your fingers. At high altitudes the torch may not work at the maximum flame length position. For best results, adjust the slider to the mid-range between "+" and "-". Note: if the ignition button is not fully pressed, the safety lock will immediately release with a click and it will not be possible to light the torch. If this happens, restart the ignition process. Extinguish: to extinguish the flame, just release the ignition button. How to use the continuous flame: be very careful when the flame is locked, as it will be continuous and will not go out until the lock is manually released. Keeping the ignition button pressed, pull the lock button towards you. Release the ignition button and the flame will remain. To extinguish the flame, move the locking lever to the opposite side. Keep out of reach of children. Do not touch the flame guard while it is hot. Keep the nozzle clean and do not drop the torch, as these are the main causes of malfunctions. Careful: Always direct the device away from the body, face and clothing when lighting and/or operating. Do not store the device in direct sunlight or in any place with a temperature above 40ºC. Make sure the adjustment knob is firmly closed and the flame is completely extinguished before storing. After use, let the torch cool down before storing it. Do not use continuously for more than one hour. Never drill or place the torch near stove heat.
